Depleted Uranium Residue
A new study by British scientists, Drs Chris Busby and Saoirse Morgan reveals the shocking finding that uranium weapons used thousands of miles away in the Middle East have contaminated Europe. High levels of depleted uranium have been measured in the atmosphere in Britain. In 1950 the British government had established an air monitoring facility at the Atomic Weapons Establishment (AWE) to measure radioactive emissions from British nuclear power plants and atomic weapons facilities. Ironically AWE was taken over three years ago by Halliburton who refused to release key data to Dr Busby, who filing freedom of information request', using new British law effective Jan. 1st 2005, however Critical data from was missing, Dr Busby obtained the information from the Defence Procurement Agency.
After "Shock and Awe" campaign in Iraq in 2003. very fine particles of DU were captured along with larger surd and dust particles in filters in Britain, it had travelled 7 to 9 days from battlefields as far away as 2,400 miles. Dr Keith Baverstock, exposed a World Health Organisation (WHO) cover-up on depleted uranium, he warned in the report about the environmental contamination from tiny DU particles formed from U.S. munitions. Dr Jay Gould revealed, privately owned investments are worth over $6 Billion through Rio Tinto Mines in Australia. The ubiquitous Halliburton just recently finished construction of a 1,000-mile railway from the mining area to a port on the north coast of Australia to transport the ore. DU weaponry meets the definition of a weapon of mass destruction (WMD).
