UPDATE – MAY 2005 PART ONE

Utilities Minister Turns Blind Eye To Wastage By Sydney Water Whilst Their Bureaucrats Want To Charge Us More, For Using Less Water.

Government Bureaucrats have recommended NSW consumers should be hit with higher prices to save wasting water and in fact the people were too efficient.  Water restrictions were introduced in October 2003 and at the end of February 2005, more than 110 billion litres (110,000 megalitres) of water has been saved (compared with the 10 year average).  That is a saving of 12%.

Sydney Water’s five year operating licence set by Utility’s Minister Frank Sartor was renewed on April 5, 2005.  Sydney Water under the new terms of agreement Sydney Water will be forced to cut leaks by 25% before 2009.  Respond to 70% of major leaks within 2 hours.  Respond to 65% of other leaks within 2 hours.  Cut water use by 80% in main sewage plants.  Have separate meters for each unit in new apartment blocks.  Reduce leaks from 143 million litres a day to 105 million litres a day by 2009.  Face fines of up to 1 million dollars for breaches.  This proves that the Minister Frank Sartor and the Sydney Water should settle for nothing less than a 100% prevention of water leakages, immediately not in 4 years time (2009).  Hire and train more staff to block these leakages would be a good way to begin repairing the damage.

BUREAUCRACY GONE MAD

Not satisfied that we are over governed we have now become massively over burdened with Bureaucrats throughout the three tiers of Government.  The Government Agencies are either over staffed or are being controlled by inexperienced Bureaucrats who have no on hands experience re: the Agency they represent.  This has created a domino affect re: land tax, stamp duty and Council rates and imposed levies which has led to major rent rises, which is much higher than the indexed CPI.

UP YOU JACK – I’M ALRIGHT DOESN’T ALWAYS WORK

Reverend Martin Niemoeller, commenting on events in Germany 1933-1939 said:

“In Germany, they came first for the Communists, and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Communist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Jew.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn’t speak up because I was a Protestant.

Then they came for me, and by that time, no one was left to speak up.

Reverend Martin Niemoeller, July 12, 1935 arrested by the Third Reich.

One has to ask, when Premier Beattie’s Political Police came for Pauline Hanson who cared?

United we stand, Divided we fall.

“22 STEPS TO GLOBAL TYRANNY”

Following is author of “22 Steps to Global Tyranny” Graham Strachan’s brief summary of same.

  1. National Governments will wind back spending on welfare and social programmes, including Education and Health.

INDUSTRIES

  1. National Governments will ensure International (not National) ownership of their Industries and business by Trans-national Corporations (TNC’s) and Global Investors.

  1. National Governments will remove all impediments to the activities of TNCs and Global Investors in exploiting their resources including human resources.

  1. National Governments will abolish all measures, including exemptions under Trade Practices legislation, which protect or assist small/medium sized Nationally-owned business.

  1. National Governments will enter into agreements with International bodies which hand over ownership and control of their Countries’ Natural Resources.

SOCIAL

  1. National Governments will sign Multilateral treaties at the United Nations which surrender their Political and Legal Sovereignty.

  1. National Governments will adopt policies of ‘Regionalism’ and ‘Multiculturism’, and other policies which will eventually eliminate National Borders, Culture, and Identity and Create Global Citizens.

  1. National Governments will agree to implement globally determined environmental, social and cultural programmes in their country.

POLITICAL

  1. National Governments will wind back their National Armed Forces to level sufficient only to subdue their own people and participate in ‘Global Peacekeeping’ activities as required by the United Nations (U.N.).

  1. National Governments will disarm their own citizens so there can be no armed resistance to Globalisation.

  1. National Governments will maintain a working relationship with their Local Media who will Divert Attention from these developments until they are too far progressed to be reversed.

  1. National Governments will agree to ultimately surrender their own sovereignty and take direction from the World Government.  What is interesting about Graham Strachan’s “22 Steps to Global Tyranny” is how accurate his predictions have become considering we perused his book in 1995.

AUSTRALIA, SHOULD HAVE ONLY ONE TAXATION SYSTEM – A TRANSACTION TAX

Following is the reason why:

Every tax costs money to collect.  As more taxes are imposed more Bureaucrats are needed to record, collect, detect evaders, prosecute, etc.

We need only one tax to supply State and Federal needs in accord with their responsibilities as per paragraph 51 of the Australian constitution.  We need No Duplication of effort.

BASICS OF A DESIRABLE TAX – NO LOOPHOLES FOR ULTRA RICH

In real life the big boys hire shyster lawyers and accountants to find the loopholes the Lawyers and Pollies put into place so they could evade their tax responsibility.  One prominent media magnate paid 30 dollars (a joke on us).  Let’s have a 1 ½% Transaction Tax.

FEDERAL ADVANTAGES

NO ANNUAL TAX RETURNS

NO ACCOUNTANCY FEES

NO STOCK TAKE

NO PROVISIONAL TAX

NO SPECIAL FUEL TAX OR EXCISES

NO TOBACCO TAX OR EXCISE

NO ALCOHOL TAXE OR EXISE

NO DEEMING

NO MEANS TEST

STATE ADVANTAGES

NO VEHICLE REGISTRATION FEES

NO DRIVERS LICENCE FEES

NO TRADE LICENCE FEES

NO BUSINESS LICENCE FEES

NO LAND TAX

NO STAMP DUTY

LOCAL ADVANTAGES

NO COUNCIL RATES

NO COUNCL LEVIES

ECONOMIC ADVANTAGTES – LESS BUREAUCRATS

We could get rid of the 21,000 people employed by the ATO on income tax and the unknown number of Compliance Officers who now live off collecting the GST.

34% of Australians work for a Government Agency.  That means every non-Government worker must give one third of his/her income just to pay bureaucrat’s wages.

That assumes the bureaucrats get equivalent pay, which they don’t.  They get at least 15% more, plus fully indexed superannuation, so the real cost from workers is close to 40%.

A PRODUCTIVE WORKFORCE

The bureaucrats would have to move to productive employment, easing the tax burden, improving the trade balance, reducing the National Debt and giving all Australians a better living standard.

NOTHING HAPPENS UNTIL SOMEBODY DOES SOMETHING

It’s time we Australians stood as one and work to make our country one Australia for all Australians.

“THE GREAT WATER CON”

In November 1993 Len Clampett penned the following article.

Both major parties are bound by a United Nations Treaty to make water a COMMODITY.  The theory was that by making water very expensive, people would conserve water.

The U.N. never told us that the water was to be sold on the Futures Market.  The financiers buy up the rain that might fall in 2010.  Of course they buy it cheap from the water catchment corporations who are no longer Government owned.

Who said the Government could simply create a 90 billion dollar industry and hand that wealth to private corporations run by executives chosen for their ability to be bribed or blackmailed into doing exactly as they are told?  They will willingly sell the entities to Multinationals.

When farmers are buying water at five times the price the Multinationals bought it for they will rue the day.
