UPDATE MAY 2006 PART ONE

HOWARD AND COSTELLO CONTINUE TO PICK AUSTRALIAN POCKETS

Up to Thursday March 17, 2005 the Howard and Costello Federal Government had introduced or increased 62 new taxes sine the GST was implemented. These taxes have swelled the Coalitions coffers by almost $5 billion. It was reported that the senate research had recorded a list of 170 new taxes and charges since the Howard, Liberal-National Coalition Government was first elected in 1996. The implementation of the GST was to make the tax system simpler by replacing many of these hidden taxes, fees and charges.

Lists of levies (taxes) introduced or on the up and up, includes the tax estimated alterations in revenue for the period 2000 2001 to 2007 2008 is a conservative figure of almost $5 billion.

Following are some of the levies:-

  1. New entry requirements aged care migrants: $155 million
  2. Increase in passenger movement charge: $330.8 million
  3. Rise in spectrum licence fees: $128.4 million
  4. Air passenger ticket levy: $270.7 million
  5. Super tax on temporary residents after leaving Australia: $325 million
  6. Extra state reimbursement: $840.3 million
  7. Foreigner withholding tax: $540 million
  8. Sugar package levy: $97.5 million

This is added evidence that Howard and Costello treat the Australian taxpayer with as much disdain as Hitlers Gestapo treated the Jews in Nazi Germany and neighbouring countries. It should also be noted the unconstitutional act committed by the Howard-Vaile Coalition under the auspices of Treasurer Costello in which they have embraced the Keating Labor Governments bi-annual excise on fuel, alcohol and tobacco.

By charging an excise as well as GST for these products is double taxing the consumer which is unconstitutional. It should also be noted that this illegal and unconstitutional offence of double taxing consumers is a known practice by State and Local Government (Council and Shires) bodies in the form of added levies. We would be very interested to know those responsible for introducing double taxing in all three tiers of Government what marks they scored for English in the final year at school.

You see in the 1976 edition of the Concise Oxford dictionary the meaning of excise (page 361) duty or tax levied on goods and commodities produced or sold within the country whereas the meaning of levy (page 623) collecting of contribution tax etc.

Have you noticed the deadly silence by the Opposition Parties on this public act of piracy Another act of piracy by the Howard Coalition Government was their embracing of Keatings creative accounting with unemployment figures, in that should an unemployed person work a couple of hours weekly they still receive their full new start payment while the Government Bureaucrats statistically registers them in the count as being fully employed. The unemployment figure is not 5.3% but realistically could be as high as 14%.

Although Australia has been White-Anted by successive Governments for more than 30 years we cannot solely blame the Liberal-National (nee country party) nor their left wing support party the Australian Democrats.  We cannot solely blame the ALP (Labor) or their left wing support party the Greens.  None of the indignities committed by successive Governments in all 3 tiers Federal, State and Local would have been possible if the parties didnt have financial branch members to prop up those elected members from the various parties. When we see these party hacks working the polling booths on Election Day we realise these are the people responsible for aiding and abetting elected members into betraying their fellow Australians.

THE MAN APPOINTED TO HEAD THE HOWARD GOVERNEMNTS FAIR PAY COMMISSION WAS INVOLVED IN A COMPANY THAT WENT BROKE

Ian Harper, who will head the Howard Governments Fair Pay Commission, was a non-executive director of a futures exchange that collapsed in March, 2001.

Australian Derivatives Exchange, which traded for just a few months, collapsed with debts of an estimated $700,000. Its been reported that Ian Harper will ask god to guide him when deciding what a fair wage should be for those earning a minimum income. We can only hope Mr Harper didnt ask for Gods help when he was a non executive director of his collapsed company Australian Derivatives Exchange.

This is just another case of the Howard-Vaile Coalition Government giving key Government appointments to people of questionable character such as former Reserve Bank Director Robert Gerard which was an appointee of Treasurer Peter Costello.

THE AUSTRALIAN TAXATION OFFICE WINS AWARD!

The Australian Tax Office (ATO) won a global award for gobbledygook for a particularly confusing section of the GST legislation.  The ATO collected the Gold Bull for a section of the act which says the Tax Commissioner may treat a particular event that actually occurred as not having occurred, and that particular event that did not actually occur as having occurred.  The award was presented by United Kingdom based plain English campaign.

THE HOWARD GOVERNMENT WILL HAVE A REPLACEMENT FOR THE DEMISE OF THE AUSTRLIAN DEMOCRATS

It has been reported that Natasha Stott Despoja will not stand at the next Federal Election signalling the demise of the Howard Governments left wing supporters The Australian Democrats.

The Howard Government the users and abusers of Australian politics proved this when they cut the umbilical cord of Meg Lees and the Australian Democrats not long after they voted with the Howard Government successfully to the passing of the GST.  Once the GST was implemented the Howard Government had no more use for the democrats so they had to find an amiable substitute.

An able replacement was found much sooner than expected thanks to Treasurer Peter Costellos public relations skill when he was invited to address the so called new religion Hillsongs 21,000 delegates at their Sydney conference just prior to the 2004 October Federal Election.  The Hillsong congregation are fanatical supporters of a new political party Family First which they support financially, manually by assisting candidates in which several were pastors of Hillsong and verbally by spreading the word and prayer.

Peter Costellos successful jaunt into supporting Hillsong became a reality when Senator Steve Fielding of Family First (Victoria) crossed the floor and voted with the Howard-Vaile Liberal-National Coalition enabling the Governments changes to the Industrial Relations Laws to be legislated.  Senator Fielding and Family first are supposed to be representative of family values and we can assure every Australian as these new Industrial Relations Reforms commence to erode quality of life and family situations we will expose both the Howard-Vaile Coalition and Family firsts Senator Fielding as puppets of the Multi-National companies.

NSW TAXPAYERS HAVE TO PAY $42 MILLION TO BAIL OUT SYDNEY OLYMPIC SITES

The Sydney 2000 Olympics is syphoning $42 million a year from NSW taxpayers more than five years since the games despite the private sector making a financial profit out of the Super Dome.  It has been revealed that Sydney Olympic Park by itself cost $38 million in Government subsidies last year (2005) with an extra $37 million public contribution (NSW taxpayers) for 2005-2006.

NSW Department of Sport and Recreations figures display another $4.2 million in taxpayer subsidies were devoured last year at the Olympic equestrian, shooting and rowing facilities.

The continuing costs for the greatest Olympics ever, come as Melbourne awaits the initial bill for its Commonwealth Games with the cost after revenue to be approximately $900 million.  The Sydney Olympic Park Authority continues to be a financial loser, even though the Super dome, the major indoor venue for the Games, is now ranked the second highest grossing entertainment arena in the world.  Unfortunately NSW taxpayers will be unable to see any benefits from the Super Dome which had tickets sales revenue of $50.2 million in 2005, because its owned by Parkers PBL on a lease until 2031.

Telstra Stadium, also privately owned, had a small profit last year (2005) of $496,000 but owner Stadium Australia Group is believed to be struggling to service their debt.  Shares sold for five dollars in 1998 and are now valued at eleven cents.  Olympic Park finance Executive director said a Government subsidy would be necessary for the precinct for many years into the future.

Profit-Loss Tally:-

  1. Olympic Park :  $38 million subsidy
  2. International Equestrian Centre:  $1.3 million subsidy
  3. International Shooting Centre:  $1.3 million subsidy
  4. International Regatta Centre:  $1.7 million subsidy
  5. Penrith White water stadium:  $48,739 profit
  6. Dunc Gray Velodrome:  Lost undisclosed amount

NO ONE SAFE FROM SACK DUE TO HIDDEN CLAUSE IN WORKPLACE LAWS

Major firms including Coles Myer, Sony and NRMA have been told they can sack employees under the Governments new workplace laws without worrying about unfair dismissal.  A leading law firm also told employers they could force people off current workplace agreements by terminating after they expired.

Around 200 business leaders were told by workplace consultancy Fisher Cartwright Berriman (FCB) at a breakfast briefing that a little known clause in the work Choices legislation allowed them to fire employees for any business reason.

FCB partner Ben Gee told the group the provision allowing dismissal for operational reasons was a catch all which had slipped under the radar.  If an employee is dismissed for reasons that include operational reasons there is no claims available (for unfair dismissal). Who in their right mind would dismiss somebody for other than operational reasons? he said.

While the Government has exempted companies with fewer than 100 employees from unfair dismissal laws, what is not as well known is that workers at big corporations are not entitled to unfair dismissal if they are sacked for genuine operational reasons.  Operational reasons are reasons of an economic, technological, structural or similar nature, the new laws state.  Mr Gee told the Daily Telegraph the definition was broad and went beyond existing redundancy provisions.

Workplace relations minister said if an employee at a large company believed he or she was not genuinely fired for operational reasons that worker could still take an unfair dismissal case to the Australian Industrial Relations Commissioner Mr Gee also said employers could use the Work choices laws to take workers off current agreements by Kevin Andrews is proof that the Howard Governments Ministers appear to be brain dead and living in a fools paradise.

Most everyone is aware, including the CEOs of Multi-National Companies, that if they unfairly dismiss one of their employees, the worker could be unable to afford the expense or spare the time to take their employer to the Australian Industrial Relations Commission.  A worse case scenario would be, if the worker took his former employer to the Australian Industrial Relations Commission and was married with a young family and has the added burden of paying off a mortgage. By the time the Commission handed down their decision, the sharks (the banks) would have foreclosed on the mortgagee leaving the family homeless and living on the streets.  In fact you could be forgiven for believing the Minister for Industrial Relations Kevin Andrews is to the Australian worker, what Children are to Paedophiles.

SMALL FARMS SQUEEZED BY BIG GROWERS GREED

We all feel for those who have suffered losses at the hands of Cyclone Larry, but it might be time to have a reality check on the losses to the banana industry.

After cyclone Winifred devastated the same area in 1986, the Queensland department of Primary Industries advised growers that they needed to spread their risk and diversity into other areas.  They did into the Burdekin Irrigation area and Mackay region.

That was ok until six growers, known as the Big 6 decided they wanted to dominate the industry and began planting thousands of acres of bananas between Tully and Innisfail.  They planted far more bananas than they could sell, with the aim of removing the small unit farm from the equation.  An extended period of low returns to smaller growers has seen that happen and many have gone out of the industry backwards.

Banana consumers have enjoyed a long period of over supply and low returns to growers.  This is why Coles and Woolworths regularly run loss leaders on bananas to get you into their stores.

So when you see the big growers on TV whingeing about losing a thousand acres dont cry too much for them.  Remember instead, the hundreds of small family unit from Macksville to Mossman that are no longer there because of the greed of the Big 6.

There will still be enough bananas to go around, the consumer will just pay a bit more and buy a few less

TELSTRAS CRUEL SWOOP

Wyangala Waters State Park is 37 km from Cowra and is host to thousands of visitors every year.  There is no mobile phone reception at Wyangala not even CDMA.  There were three phone boxes within the park outside the kiosk, and one of these was for the disabled.

Two weeks ago, Telstra workers entered the park without advising any staff member and removed the phone box for the disabled.  The nearest available phone for a disabled person is now 37 km away in Cowra.  There was no consultation with any member of the Trust Board or management on the removal of this phone box.

Surely this is an act of discrimination against the disabled as there were two other phone boxes right next to the disabled one.  If this is an example of Telstras so called, commitment to the bush, then anyone living west of the mountains is in dire straits when it comes to modern communications of any kind.

Joan Housden, President, Wyangala Waters, State Park Trusts

Comment:  Partly, or fully privatised Government utilities such as the Peoples Bank, the Commonwealth, Sydney Airport and Telstra is a setback for all Australian consumers in that these industries can operate without government interference and their sole powers of self regulation allows these industries to dictate the costs of the services.  The aforementioned industries were sold and deregulated by both the Federal ALP and Liberal-National Coalition Governments.

HOWARDS INDUSTRIAL LAW CHANGES SMELLS OF DRACONIAN DICTATORIAL STAND OVER TACTICS

Employees in NSW could lose protection from covert surveillance at work and State Laws outlining how apprentices may be treated will be overridden, the release of regulations reveal.

The Deputy Director of Sydney Universitys Industrial Relations Research Centre, John Buchanan, has warn that abolishing State Apprenticeship Laws will worsed the skills shortage.

One of the real reasons for skill shortages has been the collapse of quality on the job training, he said.  These changes are going to strip even more quality out of the training system.  They go in the complete opposite direction to what is required.

The attacks on Unions in the regulations were profound, but not surprising he said

If the Unions play by the new rules every single thing they try to do will be on the Ministers for Industrial Relations Kevin Andrews desk within 24 hours on some issues and one week for others.  The new role of the Industrial relations Commission and the Employer Advocate is essentially to be the ears and eyes of the Federal Government.  Dr Buchanan is adamant that rather than ending Union activity the regulations and laws would drive it underground.

We at Voice of the People believe that the Howard-Vaile Coalition Governments Industrial Law Changes are a carbon copy of how Hitler forced Government Legislation in Nazi Germany and is not dis-similar to how Stalin controlled Communist Russia.  We have no doubt since the Howard Government was given dictatorial powers at the ballot box in 2004 that the Prime Minister and his Government have lost their way by ignoring the Australian Constitution and turning a blind eye to Federal Law instead of enforcing it.

ALL IN THE FAMILY

Federal Labor MP Laurie Fergusons stepdaughter will be pushed into the NSW Upper House in a move that has created an inner factional conflict within the NSW Labor Party.  A report has confirmed Linda Voltz is to replace left wing MP Jan Burnswood on Labors ticket for the next state election.

Not satisfied the Federal Labor is self destructing with factional disunity cracks are beginning to appear in the NSW Labor Party branches.  The ticket should have been determined by a ballot of delegates at Labors state conference.  Senior NSW Labor officials confirmed that candidates to replace retiring left wing MPs had already been sewn up.  Members from Linda Voltzs left wing faction are seeing red, saying they werent given a say.

The election of Linda Voltz who served 6 years in the army military police and is now chief of staff to Sandra Nori, Minister for NSW Tourism.  Linda will be the third generation of Ferguson politicians.

How many more Fergusons do we need in Parliament, one senior left winger said.  At a time when there is a massive hue and cry regarding branch stacking and Sussex St, Head Quarters undemocratic stand over tactics re: State branches of the Labor Party.

Laurie and Martin Ferguson both Federal Labor MPs whose performances in Parliament is very ordinary at best.  Their other brother is an official in the Construction Forestry Mining and Energy Union (UFMEU).  Their father Jack was a former Deputy Premier of NSW and Father in law to Paul Lynch, who is a NSW Labor MP.

Linda Voltz has tried unsuccessfully at politics running once for Sydney City Council as well as being beaten by Julian Skinner in the seat of North Shore.  Linda Voltz has the audacity to say the Fergusons had no influence in head quarters (Sussex Streets) decision to select her in lieu of her local branches anointing her the position in the Upper House.

Her grand father Jack started the Birrong Branch of the Labor Party.  Retiring Upper House MP, President Meredith Burgmann, will be replaced by Bankstown Mayor Helen Westwood, who funny enough attended Birrong Girls High School as did Linda Voltz.  All five right wing Labor MPs whose Upper House terms expire are seeking to retain their positions include Health Minister John Hatzistergos, Finance Minister John Della Basca, Amanda Fazio, right wing powerbroker Eddie Obeid the same man who contracted Dementia on more than 40 occasions by inadvertently failing to declare his pecuniary interests and last but not least Henry Tsang.

Its little wonder that both the Labor (ALP) Party and the Liberals find it difficult to run the Federal, State and Local Governments (Council and Shires) while they continue their factional infighting including branch stacking.  While ever the Labor and Liberal party branches have factions such as left wing, right wing, centre, left of centre, right of centre, Australians will continue to have lack lustre members as their representative, who are more concerned about the political tensions within their party structure then what is best for the future of Australia.  The Labor Party has even a greater cross to bear than the Liberals called Unions.

With the exception of the Manufacturing Workers Union National Secretary, Doug Cameron, there is not one Union executive including Messrs Hawke, Crean, George and the Fergusons to name a few who graduated to the Federal Parliament who genuinely represented their Union members or the Australian Constituent in general.

In fact successive Governments, Federal, State and Local have conspired against the Australian public by the continual White-Anting for a period of more than 30 years.

As for Doug Cameron this man realised the Howard-Vailes United States-Australia Free Trade Agreement was going to erode the big majority of Australians quality of life by destroying our Manufacturing and Agricultural Industries and will compromise our high standard of Quarantine.

Mr Cameron spoke Nation wide against the Free Trade Agreement including at the ALP National conference at Darling Harbour Convention Centre, and yet no one would listen including his Union Colleagues from the Australian Council of Trade Unions (ACTU).  In fact Mr Camerons reward for trying to protect his members and fellow Australians was to be severely bashed twice, forcing his Union to place him and his family in a safety house for their protection.

To this day no one has been apprehended for this vicious assault.  One has to ask did anyone in the Federal Coalition feel that the outspoken Doug Cameron could retard the Federal Governments deal with the George W Bush United States Governments, preventing our Government from forming close ties.

We know that all the Labor Senators were made aware of the concessions conceded by the Howard-Vaile Coalition, re: the Free Trade Agreement and yet they crossed the floor and voted with the Government to pass the Free Trade Agreement with the United States.  Or could it be that one of his Union executive colleagues with aspirations to become a Labor member, of Parliament felt he may carry favour by shutting Doug Camerons mouth.  Have you any thoughts?

THE HOWARD-VAIL COALITION AND THEIR SENIOR MINISTERS DUCKING FOR COVER FROM THE AWB COLE INQUIRY

One could be forgiven for believing the Howard Government with their partner the Vaile led Nationals have deliberately left a legal loop hole for the Australian wheat Board (AWB) to beat the rap, re: re the oil for food program kickback scam to Saddam Hussein.  AWB legal representatives have threatened a Federal Court challenge in an attempt to prove that Commissioner Cole has acted outside the terms of reference.  Is it possible that the Howard-Vaile Coalition failed to broaden the Cole inquiry to the widest terms of reference, knowing that former Deputy Prime Minister and Nationals leader John Anderson may have been guilty of insider trading in that he failed to declare his A-Shares he had in the AWB?

One can be forgiven for being suspicious of the Howard Government when you realise that they have failed to uphold the Australian Constitution and enforce Federal Law, re the NSW Labor Governments invalid and illegal legislation in licencing the Kings Cross injection room.  For further evidence see Link >>>>Past Topics- Invalid Drug Laws.

It is worth noting that Federal Parliament in May 2001 deleted Section 232(a) of the Australian Customs Act, Collusive Seizures.  By deleting this act both the Howard Government and the NSW Labor Government cannot be incarcerated with or without hard labour for up to 5 years for failing to enforce this act, but by deleting this act Federal, State and Customs officers can turn a blind eye to a container load of Heroin or Cocaine and not be charged with what was once a criminal offence.  Surely, this opened the gateway to corruption?

John Howard continues to defend one former and five senior serving Government Ministers, including Foreign Minister Alexander Downer, who have been accused of failing to properly declare their shares in embattled wheat exporter AWB.  Its been discovered the six accused have failed their declaration duties in regard to their AWB shares and as elected members of Parliament.  A person could forgive one and maybe two Government Ministers for inadvertently overlooking to declare ownership of an A-class share in AWB, but when six Ministers wrote to Prime Minister Howard on Sunday March 12, 2006 to correct their errors, it appears to be all too convenient in finding an out, from their pre carious position.

Commissioner Cole has ruled that ASIO (The Australian Intelligence Organisation) has been granted permission to with hold evidence regarding the AWB under the guise of protecting Australias National Security.  One can be forgiven for being a cynic, but it appears that the Cole Commission of Inquiry has the fingerprints of Federal Government interference.

So dont be surprised in the final wash if Mr Howard, his Ministers and Bureaucrats will incur minor admonishment will take the major part of the blame.  It is obvious since evidence against the Howard Government and DFAT having knowledge that the SWB was paying kick backs to Saddam Hussein that the Prime Minister has managed to occupy himself full time.

He spent almost a week visiting India.  He returned to Australian to meet the Queen who was here to open a third class sporting event the Commonwealth Games, in Melbourne.  Although North Queensland in the Innisfail area was hit by a devastating Cyclone Larry Mr Howard made a short dash to the battered area, but by the following day was back at the Commonwealth Games watching the basketball.  And as a further distraction British Prime Minister Tony Blair is an added decoy for Mr Howard, by his visit to Australia for the last two days of the Games.

IT DEFINITELY PAYS TO HAVE A PRIME MINISTER IN THE FAMILY

Prime Minister John Howards brother Stan may be fined or forced to plant trees but is unlikely to front court following dozens of endangered trees were chopped down on his country property.  Last year a local council ranger discovered up to 70 protected eucalyptus trees had been cut down on one of two adjoining properties in Bowral in the Southern Highlands.

Stan Howards wife Caroline bought both properties for nearly $6.2 million.  Excuse us, Stan Howard was a senior executive of National Textiles Industries in the Maitland District that was put into the hands of the receivers with no cash reserves to pay out workers their entitlements.

Didnt John Howard step in and use Australian taxpayers money to broker a deal with the employees to give them a partial settlement.  So while we pay for Stan Howard and his executive colleagues incompetence, his wife can afford to buy properties for almost $6.2 million.

Is it possible that Stan knowing that National Textiles was in deep financial trouble could have transferred his asset to his wife Caroline?  Were just asking the question.

Mayor Gordon Lewis said a fair majority of councillors passed a resolution stating:  The general manager be authorised to negotiate a settlement on this matter with the owners of the property and the contractors in accordance with the terms discussed in the report.

The trees were protected as endangered species.  The National Parks and Wildlife Act imposes a maximum penalty of one year in prison or a $110,000 fine for causing damage to an ecological community.  General Manager Mr Hyde said, the earth moving company that cleared the trees could also be punished.  Keep an eye on our website for future developments.

NSW PREMIER IEMMA TREATS US AS BRAIN DEAD CITIZENS

Former Premiers and MPs in NSW will be banned from taking on jobs relevant to their previous portfolios for one year under a proposal before State Cabinet.  Discussions on a cooling down period have been taking place at Cabinet level.  Premier Iemma wants the period to be at least one year.

The move comes amid public outrage at former Premier Bob Carr taking on a consultancy job with packaging giant Visy Industries just months after leaving State Parliament.  Mr Carr, who resigned as Premier in August 2005, is advising Visy on recycling, creating energy from waste forestry and other sustainability issues.  ICAC has recommended introducing cooling off guide lines, but the Iemma Government has yet to react.  Mr Carrs appointment to Visy Industries which sources raw materials from NSW forest plantations could lead to the eventual privatisation of State Forests.

With Bob Carr advising Visy, he is in a position when the State Labor Government moves to privatise State Forests as they similarly plan to sell off their share in the Snowy River Hydro Electric scheme.

Our greatest concern was in October 2005, when Macquarie Bank gave Bob Carr a $500,000 year consultants job.  While Bob Carr was Premier the Macquarie Bank was involved in the Oasis development with Liverpool City Council and the Canterbury Bulldogs Leagues Club.

This development had a massive stench of corruption in which the Liverpool City was sacked by the Carr Government and yet there has never been an Independent inquiry what part the Macquarie Bank played in the episode.  When you consider Premier Carrs qualifications prior to politics he was a very average journalist with more than a passable knowledge of the American Civil War.  On these credentials would you pay Bob Carr $500,000 per year as a consultant?

OVERSEAS HOLIDAY BANK STINGS

Australians are being stung for fees of over $50 million a year when using their credit card overseas.  The charges will shock families already shelling out for expensive trips abroad this Easter (2006).  The majority will only realise they have been charged massive fees when their credit card statements arrive.  This discovery is certain to renew anger over bank fees and charges.

The fees are part of a calculation converting foreign currency into Australian dollars, which ensures many holiday makers remain unaware of how much their withdrawals and purchases are really costing while abroad.  A tourist who uses a card to withdraw $500 and buy items worth $1,500 over a 2 week stay abroad could end up paying almost $70 for the privilege.

The card users, banks and other companies impose a charge based on a percentage of the value of each purchase called a currency conversion fee.  The charge is typically about 2.5 per cent of the price.  On top of the currency conversion fee they also charge a fee for cash advances from an ATM.  This varies but can be 1.5 per cent of the money taken out with a minimum $4 fee.  Customers pay fees totalling about $50 million to use their cards, according to the Australian Bankers Association.  The total figure would be higher when fees charged by other credit card users are added.

The question is, what is the recovery cost of a transaction to the Bank? Australian Consumers Association senior policy adviser Nick Coates said.  When people use their credit card overseas they simply do not understand the actual amount its going to cost them.  Consumer groups are angry the charges remain unclear to many customers.  They believe they do not reflect the true administrative cost of the transaction to the banks.

These prohibitive costs arise from the sale of the Peoples Bank, the Commonwealth by the Keating Labor Government and was fully supported by the Federal Coalition which gave the 4 major banks the right to regulate their own industry.

UNDERPAID ILLEGAL WORKERS CONTINUE TO STEAL AUSTRALIAN JOBS

Foreign tour guides, from countries such as China are working illegally in Australia, breaching visa and award conditions, according to advice received by the Federal Government.

The Department of Industry, Tourism and Resources is trying to end the practice which cuts tour costs by bringing in cheap labour.  The Department has made changes to a tourism agreement with China, hoping to stop illegal practices.

We do not want any illegal workers in our country especially those stealing Australian jobs.  But the Howard Coalition Government takes only token action against the illegal immigrants who are working in the Sex Building and Hospitality Industry and have been doing so for more than the last decade.  The Howard-Vaile Coalition is guilty of embracing the Labor Partys Paul Keatings creative accounting re: unemployment figures.

This comes about through Centre Link paying the full amount of new start to those recipients who have worked a few hours a week and yet statistically are counted as being fully employed.

One has to ask the question, does the Federal and State Governments representing both the Liberal-National Coalition and the Labor (ALP) Party turn a blind eye to these events because the benefactors of paying slave wages, the Multi-Nationals donate generously to the aforementioned major parties slush fund.

BRITISH PRIME MINISTER TONY BLAIR ESCAPES A NATIONAL BACKLASH BY VISITING AUSTRALIA

Its interesting that British Prime Minister Tony Blair escaped a backlash by the British people by paying a visit to Australia for the last two days of the Commonwealth games in Melbourne.  He arrived in our country on Friday March 24, 2006.

The following report was brought to our attention on Monday march 13, 2006:-

The article claimed since last week momentum is mounting after it was discovered that the British Labor Party had received $33.43 million Australian, in undeclared loans from individuals.  This huge sum of money helped bankroll the partys election last May has shocked many Labor members of Parliament (MP) who accused their leader Prime Minister Tony Blair and his inner circle, of running a secret undeclared slush fund.

The discovery that several wealthy business men were offered seats in the Upper House after lending Labor large amounts of money which has sparked the new cash for favours row.  The row was ignited after Mr Blair had to rely on opposition party votes last Wednesday to get school reforms past a major hurdle when 52 members of his Government rebelled by withdrawing their vote to support their leaders Bill.

This has led to Mr Blair becoming the second world leader to suffer in the polls as he has dropped to 36% before this latest embarrassment was made public.

George W Bush has fallen to 32% in the polls which is due to his Governments failure to address the United States internal problems.  His continual use of diversions i.e. the United States is in danger of being attacked again by terrorists.  The American people are not in the majority going to support George W Bush and his Government unless they cure the unemployment and health problems to name a few.

But in Australia the John Howard, Liberal-National coalition supported the State Labor Governments in deregulating the Dairy Industry.  The government continue to push for the full sale of Telstra just as they foolishly sold Sydney and several other airports to the detriment of the Australian traveller.  And now theyve introduced the Draconian changes to our Industrial Relations Laws, known as Work choices, which will reduce Australian Workers democratic Rights.

The implementation of these new Laws on Monday March 27, 2006 is the exact carbon copy or cloning of what Russian Workers had to endure under Stalins Communist Government.

The Howard-Vaile Coalition Governments dictatorial style cannot be more evident than when they turned a blind eye to the invalid, and illegal licencing of the Kings Cross trial injection room by the NSW State Labor Government.

By failing to uphold the Australian Constitution (Section 109) and enforcing Federal Law, the Howard Liberal-National coalition have committed Federal offences themselves, under the Australian Customs Act.  And finally the failure of the Howard Government to broaden the Cole inquiry into the oil for food program, kick back scam to Saddam Hussein to the widest terms of reference allowing Commissioner Cole to hear evidence from the relevant Government Ministers and their Bureaucrats, allowing Mr.Cole to include the government Ministers and their bureaucrats in the handing down of his findings.

After all these convictions the Howard-Vaile Coalition are at 53% in the latest polls.  And yet party supporters take exception, when we accuse the majority of Australian voters of being brain dead.  It appears 53% of those polled are quite happy that the majority of voters Nation wide have given the Howard-Vaile Coalition Government dictatorial powers to control both Houses of Parliament.

The next time you see John Howard on TV praising his Government and himself, one only has to look at his eyes to realise they are the duplicate of Hitlers eyes when he spoke of Nazi Germany, the Third Reich and its power.

When we vote for the Government we are voting for Tweedle Dumber When we vote for the Opposition we are voting for Tweedle Bumber.  Australia needs a complete change from party politics.  We think its time to give genuine Independents a chance, weve had 105 years of political party Governments.
